19th Pl & Sangamon - DVD and VHS

For the first time in ten years we have put together a video featuring one huge fire. The 5-11 and 4 specials from 19th Pl and Sangamon in the Pilsen neighborhood is regarded by many as the biggest job in at least 10 years.

This 40 minute video captures the evolution of this fire from its early stages as a Still & Box alarm. Originally called into the Fire Alarm Office as an automobile fire in an alley, this incident quickly escalated to multiple alarms, consuming two large mill type construction factory buildings.

The video features much of the initial scene pre-flashover, and continues through the extra alarms and special calls. Additional footage at the end shows the destruction and continued work the next night at the ruins.
