5-11 DIVERSEY AVENUE FIRE (Stewart Warner Buildings)

This fire was by far the biggest fire in recent Chicago history, totally involving two 3 story warehouse type buildings, both measuring approximately 150' x 200'.
It took Chicago firefighters almost five hours to bring this fire under control. Firefighters were called to the scene numerous times over the next days for rekindles.
