1-Unit - 1 unit or office on fire of a multiple unit occupany building

Apt-S - Small apartment building, 2-flat, or 3-flat building, duplex, 2-3 units

Apt-M - Medium apartment building, 4-8 units

Apt-L - Large apartment building, 9+ units

Church - Church

Coach house - Fire involving a (usually) small residental occupany on the rear portion of a residential lot, most often positioned next to the alley directly behind a larger house on the same lot.

Collapse - Incident where a collapse (roof or wall) is seen on video

Commercial - Freestanding commercial structure, usually single occupancy

Commercial garage - Commercial occupany which includes large area for automobile repair or storage

Construction - Building which is still in it's construction phase, not yet occupied.

Deck Gun - incident where deck gun operations are shown on video

Early - incident where early firefighting operations (prior to first water) were caught on video

EMS - Incident where EMS was the primary response to bring the incident under control. Incidents involving multiple casualities/victims that is not fire related.

Explosion - Incident where explosions were caught on tape and incidents involving fires and/or collapses due to explosions (most often natural gas)

Factory - Manufacturing building fire

Fatal - Incident where a fatality occurred due to fire or trauma

Flashover - Incident where a flashover is seen on video

Foam - Incident where foam was used to bring the incident under control

Force - Incidents where forcable entry is needed to get into a structure or to a fire, most often cutting burglar bars and gates

Haz-Mat - Incident involving hazardous material or where hazardous materials were a major concern

High-rise - Fire in a high-rise building (6 or more floors)

Hotel - Hotel

House - Single family house fire

In-Line - Fire where in-line pumping operations were put to use

Industrial - Fire involved an industrial building or complex, such as oil refineries, chemical facilities, power plants.

Injury-civilian - Fire where civilian(s) were seriously injured

Injury-FF - Fire where firefighter(s) were injured or needed medical attention at a scene

Jumpers - fire where jumpers from upper floors occurred and was caught on video

Junk - Large fire involving a large rubbish pile, auto or metal scrap yard, or similar.

Ladder pipe - incident where ladder pipe operations are seen on video

MA - Mutual aid used, usually involving a suburban extra alarm fire

Multiple - Incident where multiple buildings are on fire due to communication or autoexposure

Porches - Fire where fire damage was primarily concentrated on, or originated on the buildings porches or rear-walk up area

POV - Incident where Point Of Vantage operations are shown on video

Power - Incidents where power flashes, transformer explosions, etc are seen on video, and incidents where electricity contributed to the circumstances of the incident or caused problems

Rescues - Incident where rescues were made and caught on video, usually via exterior ladder

Restaurant - Restaurant fire

Snorkel - Fire where a snorkel was used in operation and is seen on video

Storefront - Commercial occupany storefront

Tanker - Incident where tanker operations were used

Taxpayer - Fire involving a commercial occupancy on the first floor with residential occupancy above

Technical Rescue - Incident involving some type of technical rescue (rope, trench, collapse, etc)

Truck - Incident (fire or accident) involving a tanker truck or semi-truck

Tower Ladder - Incident where tower ladder operations can be seen on tape

Truss - Fire involving a building of truss roof construction

Unique - An incident where unique or strange circumstances were present

Vacant - vacant building

Warehouse - storage building/warehouse fire

Weather - incident where extreme cold and/or wind was a major contributor to harsh conditions and circumstances
